For a change of surroundings, there is the possibility for our guests on half-board to dine in one of our partner restaurants in La Clusaz.

After having informed the reception in advance, we will supply you with an ‘exchange voucher’ that you can use in one of the following restaurants:

auberge des aravis la clusaz

A further 5 minutes walk and you will have the opportunity to try the Auberge des Aravis.

A completely different setting… Here, we find the typical “mountain chalet” atmosphere and it’s the only place to find the oldest and little known Savoyard specialties.

The originality of the concept?
Apart from the promotion of authentic and traditional cooking, at lunchtime it’s “Buffet for Everybody with unlimited wine and soft drinks”. There are several buffet formulas to choose from (as in typical city menus – starter + main course, main course + dessert or all three). Beaufort tart – Tomme cheese are just two examples of starters. Reblochon tartiflette of course or buckwheat flour crozet (a sort of pasta) with porcini mushrooms are on offer from the hot buffet… home-made tarts, fresh cream cheese with blueberries are just a few of the desserts.

Everyday at teatime: :

  • Pancakes (as many as you wish): 5€ per person

Where dinner is concerned, it is preferable to reserve your table before 9pm in order to be able to taste the Savoyard Specialties. Reblochon tartiflette, triple Savoyard cheese fondue, raclette with traditional unpasteurized cheese,Reblochonnade.

Auberge des Aravis

Restaurant Le Bistro à La Clusaz

10 minutes from the hotel on the way down into the village

A permanent service from 08h30am to 11h00pm.

The bistro has a “pearly grey” plush, elegant atmosphere. The cuisine is inventive and there is also an open terrace during the summer.

It’s the haunt of seafood lovers from December to March and the meeting place for serious snackers in summer who prefer light cooking: wok scallops, César salad, skewered king prawns, marine salad, gourmet coffee.

The ideal place to find hearty dishes such as an excellent beef fillet, rolled calf’s head with a mayonnaise based gribiche sauce, a dish which is rare today, or why not try a ‘Bobosse’ andouilette (chitterling sausage)… with mashed potatoes… And, of course, the children have their own favourite menu… and sweet pancakes are served all day.
